HVAC

HVAC in the OrionM2M catalog: the MUSE LoRaWAN module for fan coils and air conditioners and the NM-103 air quality sensor for CO₂-based ventilation control.

MUSE

MUSE

MUSE is a LoRaWAN module for fan coils and air conditioners. It connects to the unit’s own controller: MUSE-U to the port of the built-in Wi-Fi module and is powered from it, MUSE-R to the RS-485 bus with external power. The module reports mode, setpoint, temperature and faults and, on server commands, switches the unit on and off and changes the mode, setpoint and fan speed. LoRaWAN Class C receives commands at any time, so a building’s fan coils can be brought into BMS without bus wiring. Compatible brands and models are listed in the datasheet.

NT-303 · NT-304

NT-303 · NT-304

NT-303 · NT-304 is a LoRaWAN room thermostat for 2- and 4-pipe fan coils. NT-303 drives on/off valves and a 3-speed fan through 5 relays; NT-304 drives 0–10 V valves or an EC fan through 3 relays and 2 × 0–10 V outputs. The 2.7″ E-ink screen shows temperature, humidity, target temperature and mode; temperature and humidity sensors are built in, with an NTC sensor input and an input for a keycard switch or window sensor. The thermostat stores 8 schedule plans, provides freeze protection and works in LoRaWAN Class C, so it accepts commands at any time, including group commands via multicast. It is powered from 100…240 V AC mains and configured via NFC from a smartphone and by downlink commands.

NM-103

NM-103

NM-103 is a LoRaWAN indoor air quality sensor that measures temperature, humidity and CO₂ concentration (NDIR, 400…5000 ppm) in one housing. A BMS platform uses its data to control ventilation by CO₂ level. The 2.13″ E-ink screen shows the CO₂ trend and a comfort emoticon, while a traffic-light indicator and an alarm report warn when the CO₂ threshold is exceeded. A 640-record archive is resent after a connection loss. Two Li-SOCl₂ batteries last about 3–4.5 years at a 10-minute reporting interval (EU868, laboratory estimate); configuration is by NFC from a smartphone and by downlink commands. The sensor is used in offices, shops, classrooms and hospitals.
