Cookie policy

This policy describes the cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) used on orion-m2m.com, run by Orion System LLP (OrionM2M). How we process personal data in general is described in the Privacy policy.
When we ask for your consent
Whether the site asks for your consent depends on the time zone of your device:
- In the consent zone we show a banner with Accept all, Reject all and Settings. The zone covers time zones in Europe, including Turkey, Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Svalbard; Cyprus; the Canary Islands, Madeira, the Azores and Ceuta; Réunion and Mayotte; Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana and Saint Martin. It also applies when the time zone of your device cannot be determined, or is set to UTC or to another fixed offset from UTC. Nothing in the Analytics or Advertising category is stored until you allow it, and no box is ticked in advance. The storage of the Bitrix24 form script (see Request forms below) does not depend on this choice: it is created when a form is loaded.
- Outside the consent zone there is no banner. Google Analytics is loaded after your first interaction with the page or 4 seconds after the page has loaded, and campaign data is stored in your browser for 90 days from your latest visit from a campaign link.
The Google map on the Contacts page follows the same zone. Outside the consent zone, the map is loaded when it appears on your screen, whatever you chose in Cookie settings. In the consent zone, it is loaded only after you click Show map under the map. This click is not remembered, and it does not change your Analytics or Advertising choice.
Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered for up to 180 days; some browsers, such as Safari, delete it sooner. When it is no longer remembered, we ask again in the consent zone.
Categories
- Strictly necessary: remembers your consent choice. It is set when you make a choice in the banner or in Cookie settings and needs no consent, because it only records that choice.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 visit statistics, used to improve the site.
- Advertising: campaign measurement. We remember the campaign that brought you here and pass it on with your request. At present, the site loads no tags from advertising platforms.
- Map: the Google map on the Contacts page. Google may set its own cookies when the map is shown.
- Request forms: storage used by the Bitrix24 form script. The script is loaded only when you move the pointer over, focus or tap a form button. From then on it keeps in your browser the campaign parameters of your visit, the referring page and the last pages you viewed on this site, and sends them to our CRM with your request. This storage is not controlled by the Cookie settings button.

The Bitrix24 form script can also read the Google Analytics cookie _ga, if it is present, and sends the Google Analytics client identifier to our CRM with your request, regardless of your Analytics choice. The request forms of this site do not use Google reCAPTCHA or any other captcha.
How to control cookies
- Use the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page to allow or refuse Analytics and Advertising.
- Delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. After that, the banner appears again if your device is in the consent zone.
- Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on all websites.
