Semtech Corporation (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading supplier of high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms, announced that Orion System LLP (OrionM2M®), one of the first developers and manufacturers in Kazakhstan of LoRaWAN-based wireless data transmission systems for the Internet of Things, has integrated Semtech’s LoRa® devices and wireless radio frequency technology (LoRa Technology) into its smart metering solutions for water, gas and electricity, and into smart lighting solutions that give a smooth transition from traditional lighting.

Reliable data from meters and lighting controllers gives utilities access to consumption data and trends without visiting each device.
